
Les Enfants were a pop/rock band formed in 1982 by Ronan O'Hanlon (guitar) and John McEnlly (drums). Derek Herbert joined on vocals in September 1982. Flo McSweeney joined in December 1983 but did not stay long with the band and turned down an offer to join full time in April 1984 when the band signed a potential six album deal with Chrysalis Records. She later joined Moving Hearts.
The band released a debut single 'Take The Girl' in1984 and relocated to London that same year. In 1985 Les Enfants had a minor hit with 'Slipaway'. They released one album, 'Touché', also in 1985.They performed at the Self Aid concert in Dublin in 1986 and split later that year.
Derek Herbert went on to form The Big Noise.
